[2023/05/14 15:52] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shakes her head. We said we would check it out. We checked it out, and say find some cleric that has more power than any of us do and get them to cleanse it, or set it adrift and set it ablaze.

[2023/05/14 15:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Right, Debben wanted to talk to the ship owner about what the heck happened to get this ship haunted in the first place
[2023/05/14 15:54] Ingelin: so, we tried to fix the problem, out of our possibilities, now the ailors will riot against the ghost
[2023/05/14 15:54] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I need to talk to the person in charge of this ship."
[2023/05/14 15:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's a lot of mumbling and muttering... the general opinion appears to be that you could find the accountant in the office just off the docks.
[2023/05/14 15:55] Ingelin: "if you need to do that, let's do that"
[2023/05/14 15:56] Alicia Frakture: /me nods."Fine, but I wanna be well rested before leaving to see Granny."
[2023/05/14 15:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: so, you're going to find the accountant?
[2023/05/14 15:57] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben stomps her way over to the accountant, clearly both a grumpy mage and on a mission to speak with this person to find out what they know.
[2023/05/14 15:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me takes it as a "yes" :P
[2023/05/14 15:57] Ingelin: we can't do anything different, no?
[2023/05/14 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: The office is quite small and dingy, In the office, a table covered with invoices, and a small nearly bald man squinting at a ledger. "Yes? What is it, can't you see I'm busy?"
[2023/05/14 15:58] Alicia Frakture: We can but I am gonna go help then come back here for... reasons.
[2023/05/14 15:58] Alicia Frakture: Leesha heads to the office too
[2023/05/14 15:59] Ingelin: "you should be more busy trying to save your hunted ship"
[2023/05/14 15:59] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "We're both busy," she retorts. "And you want my help anyway. I'm here about that haunted ship in port, I need to know who it was that died to start off the haunting."
[2023/05/14 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man looks up from his ledger and peers at you. "Seems to me you're the swords for hire, it's your job to sort it out. What do you expect me to do, tax the ghost to death?"
[2023/05/14 16:01] Ingelin: "well, if you don't care about it, we will not more then you"
[2023/05/14 16:01] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I need a name, or at -least- a description."
[2023/05/14 16:01] Alicia Frakture: Leesha steps in hopefully in time to hear that. and she growls at him."How about this. find someone who has the power to do something or I will, and you will NOT like it."
[2023/05/14 16:01] Alicia Frakture: I will do something and you will NOT like it.
[2023/05/14 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: the man looks from Cailen to Debben to Leesha and then at Megan who is sighing and rolling her eyes. "Guards!" he calls out, and three rather large muscular guys sidle out from a doorway. "Yeah? Wassup?" one of the goons grunts. The man tells them, "These... people... were just leaving. See they don't get lost on the way out."
[2023/05/14 16:04] Alicia Frakture: *How injured is Leesha still?*
[2023/05/14 16:04] Ingelin: "i knew it, time lost"
[2023/05/14 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: -very- badly. Don't get hit.
[2023/05/14 16:05] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben frowns, and throws up her hands. "Fine, I didn't need this job anyway."
[2023/05/14 16:05] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is about to speak again, but coughs up a bit of blood."Yeah I'll be back for you.." Before turning and walking out
[2023/05/14 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now you're on the street outside... that was... something. lol
[2023/05/14 16:07] Ingelin: "Leesha, you said you want to rest, let's find a post"
[2023/05/14 16:07] Alicia Frakture: Find an inn, drink some ale rent a room, and heal
[2023/05/14 16:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Could stay at the Broken Drum," suggests Megan
[2023/05/14 16:08] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "All three of us going hard on that guy was not the smartest move, in hindsight."
[2023/05/14 16:08] Alicia Frakture: Sounds good to me
[2023/05/14 16:09] Alicia Frakture: Leesha sighs."You're right, but damn it I'm hurting and I am mad about it."
[2023/05/14 16:09] Ingelin: /me whispers to Debben and Leesha: have we to trust Megan?"
[2023/05/14 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: The Broken Drum is at least easy to find. It's just off Short Street, which is ironically the longest street in the city.
[2023/05/14 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Yeah, i trust Megan. We fought alongside her earlier."
[2023/05/14 16:12] Ingelin: good, let's go there then
[2023/05/14 16:12] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods and whispers."Yeah, she has helped us a few times
[2023/05/14 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me -is- here you know!
[2023/05/14 16:12] Ingelin: and?
[2023/05/14 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Going to the Broken Drum is pretty uneventful, once you get past the beggars, street vendors, prostitutes and ordinary folk going about their business. Inside the taven - it's dark, smokey, full of rather rough-looking types with tankards before them.

[2023/05/14 16:15] Alicia Frakture: /me gets outside the door, and drops to one knee coughing up a bit more blood before growling again."Gonna need some healing as well as the drink and sleep."
[2023/05/14 16:15] Ingelin: ((i was whispering to you two)
[2023/05/14 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan catches Leesha and pulls you up. "Come on, let's get you ale and a room."
[2023/05/14 16:17] Alicia Frakture: Leesha nods and gets back to her feet slowly. "Ale first."
[2023/05/14 16:17] Ingelin: calien follows the three girls
[2023/05/14 16:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Yeah. I'm far too sober to be working right now."
[2023/05/14 16:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan helps you to the bar. "Ale! Ale for this wounded warrior, and her two trusty companions!" The barmaid quickly pulls four tankards of ale.
[2023/05/14 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: looks like that is ales sorted out.
[2023/05/14 16:20] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at the barmaid."thanks," and takes the drink. taking a long gulp of it. Not her brightest move but she swallows before coughing again.
[2023/05/14 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: The ale is cold and refreshing. Negotiations over rooms lead to the ale and the rooms at 1gp each.
[2023/05/14 16:20] Ingelin: Calien puts her nose in the tankard and drink all in oen gulp
[2023/05/14 16:21] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben quaffs with the skill of practice from a young age, frowning but with less intensity. "So Cailen, now that we've pissed off that accountant and half the sailors, what's your plan now?"
[2023/05/14 16:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's loud gasps all round as the nearest guys watch this ale-quaffing by Cailen
[2023/05/14 16:22] Ingelin: "my plan? maybe it should be our plan. anyway is clear that Leesha desires to go to help her Granny...so that shoulf be the plan"
[2023/05/14 16:22] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at the barmaid. where can i find a healer?
[2023/05/14 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: The barmaid looks at Leesha for a moment. "You could try the Temple of the Sun, in Filigree Street."
[2023/05/14 16:23] Ingelin: /me burps loudly, smirking at the guys
[2023/05/14 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: The nearest guys start nudging each other. It's clear there's some appreciation and a degree of lust being generated
[2023/05/14 16:25] Alicia Frakture: /me Leesha nods and looks at the others."YOu three drink I'll be back." She then looks at the barmaid. How do i get to Filigree street?"
[2023/05/14 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: The barmaid gives directions - it's not far.
[2023/05/14 16:26] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben side eyes Megan, trying to recall if she was the sort of cleric with healing potential.
[2023/05/14 16:27] Ingelin: "barmaid, another ale here, i am not moving from here anymore till i will be drunk" she yells, picking up her mandolin and starting to sing a sailors song
[2023/05/14 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan looks at Leesha. "You're not going now, alone, are you?"
[2023/05/14 16:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: The patrons of the bar brighten as they hear the song. About three ales appear before you, offered by various patrons, ready to hear your song.
[2023/05/14 16:28] Alicia Frakture: /me nods."I got this. You all drink have a good time. when i get back I'll have to catch up on ale. Plus I think Debben has things around here."
[2023/05/14 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... so... out Leesha goes... can't be too dangerous in town, admittedly... except for robbers.
[2023/05/14 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: Meanwhile a fair crowd are watching Cailen
[2023/05/14 16:30] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Someone should go after her, shouldn't they?"
[2023/05/14 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan: "Eh, she's a big girl, with a wrench."
[2023/05/14 16:32] Ingelin: "Hey guys, let's do in this way: we catch our tankards while we move outside the inn, i will sing for you like a sailor marching band we will follow our big sister Debben! are you all with me?"
[2023/05/14 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: The drinkers all laugh uproariously and jump up, some of them fall down again, but the rest are happy to follow you, as long as they got booze, anyway
[2023/05/14 16:33] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Eeeeh?"
[2023/05/14 16:34] Ingelin: let's go rabble, full sail!
[2023/05/14 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan looks back at Debben with a pained expression... but at least Leesha will not be lonely

[2023/05/14 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: so while you both head out... there's still a few patrons in the bar. In one corner, a rather shady looking guy whispers to two rather thick-set thugs, while they play cards
[2023/05/14 16:38] Ingelin: Calien sings some bad songs while she walks outside following Leesha, or trying to do it
[2023/05/14 16:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben, being a stout dwarf, is very able to handle their booze, quaffing the second fairly quickly.
[2023/05/14 16:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( oh, Cailen was trying to follow -Leesha- ? ))

[2023/05/14 16:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... so... Megan looks to Debben and mutters, "I think she should be left behind," and she takes a sip of ale. The three card players keep whispering to each other.
[2023/05/14 16:40] Alicia Frakture: Leesha walks through the town, hearing the music and stops thinking she is hearing things
[2023/05/14 16:42] Ingelin: Calien and the rabble stop when she sees Leesha stopping as well
[2023/05/14 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben?
[2023/05/14 16:43] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "The bard girl?" She asks to clarify, rubbing her chin, neither agreeing nor disagreeing at this moment.
[2023/05/14 16:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan sighs. It's going to be a long day, clearly. And, that's about the time that the doors bang open, and a woman in chain mail armour strides in, with the crest of the King on her chestplate, tapping her nightstick in her hand. "Don't nobody move," she says, smiling.
[2023/05/14 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: And yes, that's the cliffhanger we finish on!
[2023/05/14 16:45] Ingelin: ok
[2023/05/14 16:45] Alicia Frakture: Lol :)
[2023/05/14 16:46] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is not near the building so probably doesn't hear that
